Perched at an altitude of 1,181 metres, the ski resort of Aprica is located on a magnificent natural plateau in northern Lombardy, Italy. The slopes at Aprica ski resort rise to an altitude of 2,270 metres. The ski area is ideal for families looking for relatively easy runs, but it is also possible to ski on the few difficult black runs. With plenty of accommodation right next to the slopes, you don't have to travel far to get to the resort. So take advantage of the various establishments near the resort, such as high-altitude restaurants, bars and ski hire shops.
Skiing in Aprica
After choosing your equipment in your Aprica ski hire shop, head to the resort, which gives access to 16 ski lifts and 50 kilometres of pistes. Despite the resort's high level of sunshine, the quality of the snow in the ski area is a safe bet for the vast majority of the winter season. The Aprica ski resort offers mainly blue and red runs, suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers. There are also a few black runs. Take the Superpanoramica, a 6-kilometre descent offering breathtaking views of the various peaks. For freestyle enthusiasts, there's a Snowpark with plenty of obstacles to guarantee a thrilling experience. Activities in Aprica
At nightfall, you can relax in the bars, mountain huts and mountain restaurants, where a great atmosphere is guaranteed! As well as skiing, Aprica has an ice rink in the village and an ice wall for the brave. In the heart of the ski area, you can also go snowshoeing or ski touring to admire the scenery from a different angle. Let yourself be tempted by the mountain restaurants, which will spoil you with delicious local specialities. If you want to relax, the village swimming pool is the ideal place to unwind after a long day's exertion.
