Hippach Resort
The Tyrolean ski resort of Hippach is a small village at the bottom of the Zillertal valley in the Zillertal Alps. The quiet, relaxing village of Hippach lies at an altitude of between 630 and 2,500 metres above sea level. Ideal conditions for a skiing holiday. Many ski slopes can be accessed from this long village, set in magnificent surroundings with steep slopes. Hippach also has a good choice of guesthouses and hotels, as well as a ski and snowboard hire service. This holiday resort offers winter sports attractions for young and old in the Tyrolean Alps.
Skiing in Hippach
In the Hippach ski area, you can ski on 142 kilometres of pistes : The ski area has numerous ski lifts that take skiers to the resort of their choice. The nearest ski station in this ski region is the Horbergbahn, less than a kilometre away. As well as spectacular downhill runs, there are also around 40km of cross-country ski trails. For those who want even more, the Zillertaler Superskipass gives access to a total of around 542 kilometres of pistes, all of which are linked by free shuttle bus and train services and therefore easily accessible. This means you can ski to your heart's content. Night skiing is another special attraction. The slopes are romantically illuminated or floodlit. The night runs often include wonderful entertainment programmes such as fire shows, ski ballets, ski acrobatics or fire, torch and light shows. It all adds up to a very special and atmospheric experience. A skiing experience you won't soon forget. Activities in Hippach
The Hippach ski region also offers a wide range of other activities. Snowboarders are well catered for, as are skaters, who can let off steam on the artificial ice rink located next to the Mayrhofen water park. Curling is also available for children and adults. Of course, sledging is also possible, for example on the nearby Pistenbock toboggan run, which is safe off-piste. Hippach has plenty of facilities, including a tourist office, supermarkets, restaurants and cafés for relaxing after a day on the slopes. To relax your muscles after a day on the slopes, a visit to the nearby adventure spa is also a good idea. You can also take a day off to go shopping. Hiking can also be an excellent distraction. The right snowshoes can also be hired from the Skimium shop. And for those who still fancy an après-ski after an adventurous day in the snow, or perhaps want to let off steam by dancing - with cool sounds and a good atmosphere - the ice disco in Mayrhofen is certainly a good tip!
