Val Cenis Resort
The Val Cenis ski resort is made up of two villages, Lanslevillard and Lanslebourg, at altitudes of between 1,400 and 2,800 metres. The Val Cenis ski area offers breathtaking views of the Vanoise Park and Mont Cenis. The ski resort of Val Cenis, with its mountain traditions still very much alive, combines friendliness and modernity with ski facilities that are well worth the diversions! Skiing in Val Cenis
The Val Cenis ski resort is linked to the Val Cenis Vanoise ski area, a comfortable area with 57 marked runs (including 12 green runs, 19 blue runs, 21 red runs and 5 black runs) spread over some 125 kilometres and 1,500 metres of vertical drop, with panoramic views of Mont Cenis! There's also guaranteed snow thanks to the presence of 200 snow cannons, as well as 28 ski lifts providing ski-to-door access to the resort from an altitude of 2800 metres. The Val Cenis Vanoise ski area offers a wide range of possibilities for all levels of skier. High mountain off-piste itineraries await free ride enthusiasts, conditions permitting. The ski area also has a snowpark, a boarder cross set up and a speed timing zone.
Activities in Val Cenis
Val Cenis offers a multitude of sporting and cultural activities, entertainment and events throughout the season. Val Cenis Vanoise offers Nordic skiing enthusiasts 27 kilometres of pistes. For young and old alike, a 900-metre toboggan run is accessible by the Val Cenis le Haut cable car. You can also try your hand at bodyboarding, paragliding and, of course, dog-sleigh rides to admire the surrounding scenery!
