A Valle d'Aosta village perched at an altitude of 1,579 metres, Champoluc has a 49-kilometre ski area that is particularly suited to skiers with a good level of skiing ability (1 black run, 12 red runs and 4 blue runs). Champoluc - Monterosa Ski Resort
A Valle d'Aosta ski resort just a stone's throw from Piedmont, Champoluc is the destination of choice for skiers looking for technical challenges. In the heart of the Val d'Ayas, Champoluc ski resort lies at an altitude of 1568 metres. Its ski area is in the Plan du Crest sector and gives access to the slopes of the Monterosa ski area, which includes several resorts in Valle d'Aosta and Piedmont. Skiing in Champoluc - Monterosa Ski
The Champoluc ski area reaches an altitude of 2705 metres. There is a children's area at 1980 metres, at the arrival of the gondola from the village. From the heights, the views open up to reveal breathtaking scenery, with many peaks topping 4,000 metres to the north. The ski area has a total of 49 kilometres of pistes served by around ten ski lifts. In all, the resort's ski pass gives access to 4 blues, 12 reds and 1 black, making it a ski area that good sportsmen and women will particularly appreciate. Champoluc also has a snowpark. If you're not afraid of a challenge, then opt for the Monterosa ski pass. There are 48 downhill ski runs (14 blue, 27 red and 6 black), but also 21 kilometres dedicated to cross-country skiing for you to explore.
