Alpe di Mera Resort
Located in the grounds of the village of Scopello, at an altitude of 649 metres, the Alpe di Mera resort (1,600 metres) stretches its ski slopes up to 1,742 metres. Access to the 30 km ski area is easy from the moment you arrive in the village, as a chairlift leading directly to the heights has been in place since 1949. A confidential resort, Alpe di Mera is particularly popular with skiers looking for a rejuvenating winter sports break.
Skiing in Alpe di Mera
If Alpe di Mera is such a success, it's because its ski pass opens the doors to a ski area located on the slopes of the Monterosa, which will delight snow sports enthusiasts of all levels. The 30km of pistes are divided into 14 routes, 87% of which are red and 13% blue, making Alpe di Mera a resort that expert skiers will particularly appreciate. However, they won't be able to ski on ungroomed pistes, as there are no black runs. The infrastructure at Alpe di Mera has been extensively modernised. New chairlifts and snow cannons covering almost the entire ski area (10 hectares out of 12) have been installed. In addition, a snowpark with 8 modules will delight freestylers.
