Located on the Haute-Maurienne border, Valfréjus is a traditional village on the Espace Haute Maurienne Vanoise ski area. This totals 350 km of downhill skiing and 200 km for Nordic skiing. Valfréjus Resort

Located in the Maurienne valley, the Valfréjus ski resort rises to an altitude of 1550 metres. It offers a magnificent view of the Massif des Cerces in the Thabor range on the edge of the Vanoise park, and boasts facilities that will delight even the most avid skiers. Valfréjus, the village resort with its authentic charm nestled between fir trees and larches. There are a number of play areas for fans of new winter sports, including 1 boarder cross and 2 toboggan runs, each 2 kilometres long. Skiing in Valfréjus

The Valfréjus ski area is made up of 23 marked runs spread over some 70 kilometres and a vertical drop of 1187 metres, with exceptional panoramic views! The correct altitude of the area also means that snow is guaranteed, as are the 80 snow cannons and 10 ski lifts that ensure you can ski all the way back to the resort. Fancy a spot of skiing? The Valfréjus ski area offers something for every type of skier: experienced skiers can use their technique on the black pistes, which range in altitude from 2737 metres to 1550 metres. Beginner skiers have a gentle slope at the bottom of the area.

The Valfréjus resort offers a multitude of non-skiing activities, including sports (ice climbing, zip-lining) and cultural activities (Museobar, la maison penchée, le carré des sciences).
