Skiing in Saint François Longchamp

The ski resort of Saint-François Longchamp shares the Grand Domaine ski area with Valmorel, linking the Tarentaise valley to the Maurienne valley. It offers a 1,300-metre vertical drop and a maximum altitude of 2,550 metres, with 160 kilometres of varied runs spread over two sectors: the choice is yours between the gentle slopes of the mountain pastures and the vertiginous descents of the summits. Particularly suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers, the Grand Domaine encourages family skiing. It is also open to all types of snow sports, with a boardercross, a snowzone with halfpipe and a freeride zone. Finally, the ski area's 20 kilometres of cross-country ski trails invite Nordic ski enthusiasts to practice in complete freedom.
