Cervinia Resort

Facing the mythical Matterhorn, Cervinia has become over the years the emblematic ski resort of the Valle d'Aosta and even of the country. Perched at an altitude of 2050 metres, Cervinia is one of the most popular ski resorts in Valle d'Aosta. The slopes here reach almost 3500 metres, giving the ski area optimum snow cover. Skiing in Cervinia

The Cervinia ski area has no fewer than 100 kilometres of pistes served by around fifteen ski lifts. With 10 black, 28 red, 8 blue and 3 green runs, the Cervinia ski pass offers plenty of routes to explore. The slopes on the Plateau Rosa glacier are also ideal for summer skiing. A snowpark and a cross-country ski run are also available to Cervinia's winter sports fans. If the resort's ski area doesn't satisfy all your appetites, you can also choose a ski pass that allows you to switch to the slopes of neighbouring resorts. These three resorts form the Matterhorn Ski Paradise ski area, which has a total of 350 kilometres of runs.

Activities in Cervinia

A major ski resort, Cervinia is one of the liveliest winter sports destinations in the Alps, as demonstrated by the winter events brochure available from the tourist office.
