Canazei - Val di Fassa Resort

Canazei is a ski resort in the Val di Fassa in the Dolomites. A blend of tradition and modernity, Canazei has an unforgettable mountain holiday in store for you, taking you up to an altitude of almost 3,000 metres. Located in Trentino-Alto Adige, Canazei has been a tourist destination since the 1950s. The architecture of this ski resort is a mix of traditional chalets and modern buildings where you can find a comfortable rental. With its shops, restaurants and lively nightlife, Canazei appeals to families and party-goers alike. What's more, Canazei has a large ski school with around a hundred teachers. The school can also accommodate children in its Kinderland, a play and learning area where little ones can spend the whole day or just a few hours.

Skiing in Canazei - Val di Fassa

A short cable car ride from the village centre takes you to the Canazei - Belvedere ski area, with 21 kilometres of pistes, two-thirds of which are red. The snowpark is at the heart of the ski area and is divided into three zones. The Family Park is for children and beginners, the FunSlope has been designed for skiers and snowboarders who want to try their hand at freestyle, and the funcross offers challenges for experienced freestylers. A ski pass will also allow you to switch to the neighbouring slopes of the other Val di Fassa villages for over 200 kilometres of thrilling descents. The more sporty can even opt for the Domiliti Superski ski pass and its 1,200 kilometres of trails.

One thing's for sure, you won't have time to get bored during your stay in Canazei. The tourist office is located in the centre of the village, where you can find out more about the programme for your stay. Workshops, festivals and craft markets are organised throughout the season.
