Activities in St. Anton
St. Anton offers countless opportunities to stay active after activities on the ski slopes. If you want to rest and relax, the wellness oasis is a good tip, for example, if you want to do something good for your strained muscles so that they are fully operational again on the slopes. St. Anton is known as a party town, with numerous rustic refuges, umbrella bars and snow bars inviting you to enjoy the après-ski. St. Anton also offers a wide range of culinary options. The Verwallstube, for example, is located at an altitude of 2000 metres. This toque restaurant (in Austria, toques are equivalent to the toques awarded by Gault-Millau) offers plenty to tantalise the taste buds. We also highly recommend a visit to the St. Anton Ski Museum, housed in a mountain hut, which documents the long history of local skiing. St. Anton's pedestrian zone, known as the "Flaniermeile", is ideal for a day's shopping. Or how about a winter hike in the mountains? St. Anton is the starting point for an extensive network of regularly maintained winter hiking trails.
