Kirchberg is a ski resort situated between 800 metres and 2000 metres above sea level. It is renowned for the magical atmosphere it exudes during the winter period. The resort has 234 kilometres of ski runs for all levels. 45 blue runs for beginners, 31 red runs and 16 black runs for experienced skiers. This resort is perfect for a family skiing holiday. Kirchberg is a large community in Austria's Brixen Valley, close to Kitzbühel. As the Kirchberg ski area lies in the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps, it is the ideal holiday destination for skiers. The ski resort not only offers ideal conditions for a winter holiday thanks to its many different slopes. This lively resort also offers a tourist office, accommodation such as wellness hotels, shops, a choice of restaurants and cafés, and plenty of activities for young and old. With its blue, red and black ski runs, the Kirchberg ski area offers ideal conditions for beginners, intermediate skiers and professionals alike. What's more, there are numerous ski lifts and cable cars to take skiers to the ski resort of their choice. A ski pass gives you free access to the resort of your choice. The Kirchberg ski area in the Kitzbühel Alps stretches from 832 to 2366 metres above sea level and has 234 kilometres of pistes. Thanks to its snow-covered slopes, it offers guaranteed winter fun not only for skiing, but also for carving, freeriding, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Even beginners are in the right place here. For example, as well as a ski school, there are training lifts for beginners to try out. On the 1.5 kilometre Gaisberglift piste in Kirchberg, you can take part in night skiing on Thursdays and Fridays. The night skiing run is lit by a floodlight system and runs until 11pm. Of course, in the Kirchberg ski area, winter sports fans can hire all the ski and snowboard equipment from one of our Skimium shops.

After skiing or winter sports activities, of course, you want to relax and recharge your batteries. Kirchberg has plenty to offer off the slopes. There are numerous discos, bars, pubs and the authentic Eisbar for après-ski. A visit to the sauna is also recommended. There are many saunas in the area. Here you can pamper yourself and get your body in shape for the next day on the slopes. Or you could opt for a bit more action and head to a water park. On a non-skiing day, a trip to the region is a must. In the Brixental, products are still made by hand according to a long tradition, and you can even watch fresh milk being turned into cheese in the region's cheese dairies. In the distillery, you can learn a lot about brandy, and you can buy fresh natural products in the farm shops. Or how about a winter walk? The Obergaisberg trail, around 13.6 kilometres long, offers magnificent views over the village of Kirchberg.
