The ski resort of Risoul is a resort in the Hautes-Alpes located in the huge La Forêt Blanche ski area. The resort features 20 green runs, 50 blue runs, 39 red runs and 10 black runs for beginners to experienced skiers. Three snowparks and 7 kilometres of cross-country ski runs complete the resort. Risoul Resort
In the heart of the Hautes-Alpes department and benefiting from a Mediterranean climate, the ski resort of Risoul is set in one of the largest linked ski areas in the Southern Alps at an altitude of 1850 metres. Risoul is a typical mountain village with a rustic architecture designed by the famous architect Ricardo Bofill. The ski resort of Risoul offers unique views of the surrounding massifs, from the Alpes-Maritimes to Haute-Savoie, from the Écrins massif to Queyras, from Mont-Viso to Mont-Blanc. Skiing in Risoul
The ski resort of Risoul is part of the Forêt Blanche ski area, which offers 116 marked runs spread over 185 kilometres and 900 metres of vertical drop, with exceptional panoramic views! The high altitude of the area means there's guaranteed snow, with 51 ski lifts and 55% of the area covered by snow cannons, so you can ski all the way back to the resort. Thanks to its altitude, the Forêt Blanche ski area caters for all levels of skier and snowboarder. Its slopes are set in a vast forest of 900,000 larch trees, trees of light that have been carefully preserved since the resort was built. Fun areas are available for fans of new winter sports, including a slalom run, two natural toboggan runs and a free beginners' area.
